Housed in a historic 130-year-old former church building adjacent to the Cliff Dwellers Gallery, our space provides a fitting backdrop for the expansive range of Jim Gray’s art. From captivating paintings and prints depicting the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee to scenes from Jim’s extensive travels across the nation and the globe, the gallery offers a diverse and immersive collection.

Jim Gray, a nationally celebrated artist, is recognized for his exceptional ability to capture color, light, and texture, creating an immersive experience that resonates with audiences and adds beauty to any space. In 2003, Jim Gray received Tennessee’s highest artistic honor, the Distinguished Artist Award, presented by the Tennessee Arts Commission as part of the Governor’s Awards in the Arts in Nashville, TN.

The Jim Gray Gallery extends a warm invitation to visitors year-round, opening its doors from 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Saturday, and from 10 am to 4 pm on Sundays, which includes access to our picture frame shop.
